At age 8, Alexandra "Alex" Scott passed away from neuroblastoma, a childhood cancer. Every year more than 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer. When she was 4, Alex started her cancer fundraiser and raised more than $2,000 dollars. At her death in 2004, Alex raised 1 million dollars and inspired a legacy of hope and cures for childhood cancer.
Despite lack of funding, pediatric cancer is the number one cause of death by disease for children and young adults under 20. The ALSF delivers exceptional results in everything they do ensuring your satisfaction at every new step towards a cure for childhood cancer.
Since Alex poured her first glass of lemonade, the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) has funded more than 1,500 cutting-edge research projects at 150 institutions in the U.S. and Canada.
With the help of supporters, the ALSF is guiding the world toward a future without childhood cancer. So please help Alex and grab that cup of lemonade by joining them in uncovering cures for childhood cancer.
